It's hard to believe that in the last eight years, no real progress was made on the advance of stem cell research. Every month, women's bodies shed and egg or eggs during their process of menstruation. All it takes is one of them to unlock the amazing healing powers of the human genome.

Imagining a future where almost any ailment in the human body can be repaired with stem cell technology is difficult to do right now. However, the technology is there, it just needs to be perfected in order to make use of it. Once regulations are lifted and experimentation is allowed to continue, it might be one of the single greatest discoveries of our time. Imagining the sheer number of people whose lives will be improved is staggering and in the near future, indeed.
